LLCRHA Engages in Strategic Planning

The Leadville & Lake County Regional Housing Authority (LLCRHA) has begun work on its next strategic plan, which will guide the organization from 2025 through 2028 and beyond.

Formed in 2022 through an intergovernmental agreement between the City of Leadville and Lake County, LLCRHA was established to address the region’s growing housing challenges and to create a coordinated approach to preserving and expanding affordable housing. Since its formation, the LLCRHA has worked to build partnerships, secure funding, and support local housing initiatives that strengthen the community.

LLCRHA is currently engaged in a number of projects and programs in collaboration with local organizations. These include supporting the One Community comprehensive plan, which aims to align housing, health, and economic strategies across the region, as well as partnerships with local nonprofits and government agencies on property development, deed management, and emergency rental assistance.

The upcoming strategic plan will set clear priorities for the next three years, focusing on financial sustainability, program effectiveness, and collaborative solutions to meet local housing needs.

The finalized plan will be released to the public near the end of the year.
